OKPMA Membership

Podiatrists who practice in Oklahoma are invited to join the OKPMA and APMA. Membership benefits include special rates for CME events. Membership dues are paid annually from June 1st and dues are pro-rated based on your join date. To apply, use the APMA online form. The OKPMA Membership Committee reviews all applications for approval.

If you practice in another state or at a federal institution, you can use the same form to apply to your own APMA component organization.

Licenses and CMEs

The Oklahoma Podiatric Medical Examiners issue podiatric licenses. Renewal notices are mailed in May before the June 30th deadline in even-numbered years. For renewal questions, visit their website or contact their licensing department at 405-962-1400 ext. 170.

If you need a replacement CME certificate from an OKPMA symposium, email us your request.

Membership Benefits

OKPMA Symposium Gathering

SENIOR MEMBERSHIP
To qualify for senior membership you must:

  • be 65 years or older, and
  • not be actively engaged in practice more than 20 hours per week, and
  • have been a member in good standing for 20 consecutive years OR an aggregate of 25 years.

Senior members enjoy all the benefits of full membership at discounted dues rates. Your application will be reviewed for approval by the OKPMA Membership Committee. Apply online through the APMA.

LIFE MEMBERSHIP
To qualify for life membership you must:

  • be 65 years or older, and
  • be completely retired and remain retired from the practice of podiatric medicine, and
  • have been a member in good standing for 20 consecutive years, or an aggregate of 30 years, OR be a licensed DPM member who has been in good standing for a minimum aggregate of 50 years.

Life members enjoy many of the benefits of full membership but pay no membership dues. Your application will be reviewed for approval by the OKPMA Membership Committee. Apply online through the APMA.
